Extra flab isn't very attractive.

Still, better than flab that is stuffed with fat

Interesting, good post Bidor.

The pics before the op are sickening though. He looks like one of those animated pancakes you see in the movies, when some guy gets run over.

I found most of what he lost, just in case anyone is looking for it.

Most disturbing thing I've seen today.

Don't think you really understood what i was saying.

You could say he's the real life 'Fat Bastard' before and after.

Despite the excess skin, very interesting.

I knew someone who lost 500lbs quickly, but it was andre the giant when he was cremated

RIP gentle giant, we miss ye

yeh a similar thing happened to the winner of last year's Biggest Loser in Australia Adrian. He had left over skin so he had to get an op to remove it.

Posted by Lilith on Jun-20-2007 01:31:

Yep, a lot of it gets donated to hospitals for skin grafts for people when they get it 'trimmed' I guess for lack of a better word!
Well that's a random boring medical fact for today...

He needs to do some serious tanning to hide that scarring now.

Damn he looks really good in that last picture.

Posted by david.michael on Jun-20-2007 13:38:

Those in-between pics are nothing short of scary, but looks like he's really getting somewhere by the last pic or two.

Okay, so.... Im thinking he probably did something like have GPS to lose the weight fast enough that his skin wouldnt have time to retract. If you lose the weight naturally at around 2 pounds per week, the skin does a pretty remarkable job of bouncing back (unless the gain was incredibly quick, like in the case of a pregnancy).

Anyways, not a fan of any kind of weight loss surgeries. Theyre a quick fix and they arent teaching the person the kinds of skills needed to keep from gaining it all back. More likely than not hes going to weigh 400 pounds again some day.

Just sayin'.
