Looping
Anyone give me pointers about looping? I know what they are, just can't figure out when to use them.

You could loop the first track if its ending is too short and use the extra time for mixing in the second track.
or if you have a bunch of decks, u could just loop all and come up with a new sound.
is the auto 4 beat maker on the cdj 200's accurate for the most part?

the pioneer 800's have one touch looping with a built in beat chopper but the 1000's have hot-cues in place of this feature (design wise).
You could use them for accapella's, instrumentals, etc... You can do some crazy shit with them, if you know how.
Listen to some David Guetta or Eric Morillo sets. They both use loops frequently. Great learning material.
just fuck around with it, use it when you're not supposed to use it, loop 1 bat, loop 1/2 bar,.... this way you might even come up with something new.
loop, basically records a small segment of the track, now look at that segment as an extra deck or something...
dont know...
Just do it!
I might be doing this completely wrong, but I'm new to this and have been setting up a loop, beatmatching using that loop, and then exiting the loop as the song is blended in with the other one. Is this not what everyone else does? Otherwise, by the time I get a song halfway beatmatched, it is already way too far into the song
