As most of you will be aware by the huge 26 page thread, a massive 15,000 man event took place in Birmingham, England, yesterday, from 9pm-6am. It was broadcasted live across the Galaxy network, with hundreds of thousands of listeners across the UK, and probably millions over the internet. The TA's got a shout-out during Matt Hardwick's set

The event featured:

Chemical Generation Arena:

Paul van Dyk (3 hours)

Scot Project
Matt Hardwick
Nick Riley

Gatecrasher Experience Arena:

Scott Bond

Galaxy radio not only littered it with adversta bou every 5/6 songs, but also only played some of each set. They played 45 minutes of Van Dyk's 3 hour set, 45 minutes of Hardwick's set, an hour of Picotto, then finished off with Talla and Sanchez. A dissapointing broadcast of what sounds like an awesome event.

We are all going to campaign for them to play Paul van Dyk's exclusive 3 hour set, which was truly amazing when they cut it off. Van Dyk hasn't been doing many gigs lately, but made a special exception for this amazing event, and some have described it the best PVD performance they've ever heard.

So everybody, email galaxy and TELL them to play all 3 hours of his set.

Get emailing! We managed to get a shout-out in front of hundreds of thousands of listeners, so who knows, maybe we'll get all of his set!

For those abroad, email them too! Last night's set was on the internet, and even if this wasn't, one of us in the UK will rip it for you.

This means that no one even has 1 full set! And the mails prolly wont get thru to them!

Holland's Party night is 100 times better! Hell even Denmark are better than the UK!

Dj Exon, what are you on about? Denmark better parties than UK? You do realise that the UK and Holland are streets ahead of the rest of the world for clubbing?

Actually what i meant was the transmissions from the parties At least they play whole sets

Do they transmit them over the net to listen to?

Galaxy fm are notorious for their advertising. I think they are just about the worst.

did they have it on tv as well.. Rapture had it on the year before as my sis taped all of it,, their ad breaks were good as they didnt cut out the major tunes... maybe someone can rip it from video if it was on tv??

They don't have any commercials in Denmark or in Sweden for that matter, we have the voice saying what's playing I.E PvD Live from Utrecht here on P3 Live..
