cedar point

anyone been there? im going there tomorrow...any specific rides i should be making sure to go on?

I have been on King Da Ka similar to this ride. I won't give away how it felt but I will put it like this.

1. Some of the riders did not make it over the top
2. They made me wait 3-5 minutes before the ride took off

lol they didnt make it to the top as in they pussied out and had to get out or they fell to a gruesome death in the spike pit?

i used to go to cedar point all the time, im from near london ontario, millenium force was and still is my favorite ride there. top fuel dragster was awesome but prepare for disapointment as it frequently breaks down and more often doesnt make it up and over. they gauge the power for each run based on the estimated gross weight of the ride and the passegners. so if you have a lot of fatties on your train, you might not make it up and over. the line up is stupid for that ride too. but on a good note, it makes the lineup for millenium force, magnum and mantis much shorter.

Cedar point is my favorite place on earth...well it would be if I have gone there. I'm still waiting the day when I can drag someone to drive down with me. The rides looks so good and make my beat beat.

like the colonel said: Did not make it over the highest point of the ride. Possible related to this fatty issue

dont even bother with teh top dragster. I only rode it once during its media preview. It is soooo short of a ride its not worth any wait. IMO.



millenium is wondrous though.

Wait till night once the laser light show is about to start (if they still have it that is, but I"m sure they have something similiar). The lines are absolutely dead then, I rode the iron dragon about 12 times in a row just because I could -_-.

ahhhh yeah thats how i did it
hit up as many rides during that dead spot as i did during the rest of the day

Went there with buddies for a three day camping trip outside the park, broke my ankle, yet still went on all the rides. But the real old wooden rollercoaster killed me and during the whole ride I wish there was a God who would answer my prayers of smoting me before it ended.

I was one of the first 500 riders on the Dragster.

Totally not worth the wait.

It was so fast you didn't even know what was going on, and when you go over the top, again, too fast/disorienting to see how high you are, and then when you stop, it almost gives you whiplash.

Not a good ride IMO.

Oh, and not making it over the top... sometimes the weight or something is off, so the train doesn't successfully go over the top, and instead comes flying backward to the start.

Cedar Point otherwise is kick ass. I love that park and am dying to go back this summer, but I would not wait the however long wait to get on that stupid Dragster ride because it sucks.

fuck...whatever the 2nd biggest one, millenium falcon mbbe? i don't remember. anyways, fucking awesome, PLUS the view from the top is fucking amazing, you can see into canada
