Subject: INTERNET CONTENT FILTERING, WEBSITE BLOCKING

Effective tonight, the Security and Business Recovery Division will implement additional controls to restrict %^#@# employees' access to the following Internet website categories:

. Social Engineering(includes youtube.comand myspace.com)
. Games
. Personal/Dating
. Intimate Apparel/Swimsuit
. Nudity

This action is necessary to protect employees from objectionable Internet website content, as well as, limit the amount of Internet traffic currently consuming %^#@#'s network bandwidth.

Questions regarding the miscategorization of a website, or the need to access a restricted website to perform job duties, can be directed to the Customer Assistance Center at blahblahblah.

Aiye!!! I hate those websense things.. We had one where I worked before and it sucked.

TSG can you access anything like your personal email or myspace?

usually they restrict those things.

Haven't been able to access My Space in sometime now, Feb 07? I can still get into my emails but I'm told "they" can see everything.

Thinking of buying a Broadband card for my laptop so I don't have to deal with all the Nazi BS at work.
