Eclipse Festival 2007 - anyone going?

http://www.eclipsefestival.com/2007...07_en/main.html

I'm going to head up this year with some other first timers. Anyone else going?

If onyl it wasn't one week after WEMF. I don't think my body can handle that kind of insanity 2 weeks in a row.

Ditto.

And its a good little hike / jaunt too... 8 hours.... wow.

Yeah, if this would be a PERF escape if WEMF wasnt before it. *sad*

I would go if I didn't have commitments for that weekend. The line-up is pretty sick... Tegma! Protoculture, James Monro, and Koxbox! It's a nice variety since they all don't play the same type of style.
Hopefully next year.

nice to see more of these festivals happenin in CAnada

Posted by Shankar on Jun-22-2007 04:37:

this one is gonna be killer this year!!

Tegma has prepared an insane set to make everybody dance like no tommorow. The site itself is quite interesting, as it is a former silo for missles against Soviet Union - now to be a great site with beautiful scenery and imagery. 2 stages, a great variety of international artists (NOT JUST psy trance!!). Having a chance to attend this massive event for the 3rd time this year, I can only urge you to not miss this event!

how do you get there from toronto? there is not much info on that site..

Posted by Shankar on Jun-22-2007 21:31:

They will post the directions soon

Got my ticket today for $75 (last week at that price). It is a neat two-sided lenticular type thing.

Not very eco-friendly though.

where did you get it from?
cuz i was considering ordering online

Posted by LittlePoonzgirl on Jun-25-2007 07:32:

My friends who have gone say it's better than WEMF (bit less variety though). I wish I could go but I don't think I'll have enough time.

But I will be going to Harvest Festival...the psy stage was awesome last year.

To Eclipse or to Shanti Baba?

Eclipse will take place on a site located halfway from Montreal to Quebec City.

Directions (assuming you know how to get to Montreal in the first place, since there are no direct directions from Toronto):

Departing from Montreal
Take highway 20 until exit 278 (Laurier Station)
Take route 271 SOUTH until the end of the route
Turn left at route 269 NORTH
Continue half a kilometer on route 269
Turn right on the 216 EST, towards St-Sylvestre
Follow the directions towards the Mont-Radar Ecovillage (chemin Mont-Radar)
The Ecovillage is situated at 50, chemin du Mont-Radar

PS i would also pay for that

Posted by Engine9 on Jun-26-2007 16:11:

google maps says 2 hours from montreal

so 4-5 from Toronto to Montreal + 2 = total of 7ish hours

are the stages outdoor?
