NR Recap: Preach and Pearce at Shelter 6.16.2007.
The first part of our coverage from that night went up earlier today.
"The Saturday Sermon event went off last week, we have the coverage! This weekend we will announce the winner of the iPod Shuffle and make the set recording available, so check back. In other news, we're now tracking as many events year-to-date as we did all of last year - keep those suggestions coming."
We'd love to know what you guys thought we did well and what we have to work on. The other thread was supremely informative!
Thanks!

(seriously, the party was well organized and the beats were hot.....now that you know Preach can get 99% great reviews, bring his ass BACK!!!!!!)

I'm normalizing the levels now and cutting the sets up so they are separate (Alex Pearce in his own file, Preach in his own, etc.), I'll up in an hour or so

Djquick83: relax dude. If you have some issue it's easy enough to let me know so I can do something about it. The recording is done properly and I walked out of that venue with the best possible audio. I didn't normalize it when I produced the sets because it's a frequently misused technique that kills the dynamic range and causes listener fatigue. 128 kbps MP3's can suck a lot of life out of music, but there are some ways to reduce those effects. I'll split the artists, export higher bit rate files, and consider boosting the volume a bit .

Yes, thanks from me too. Love that nightreveler posts sets. I'm constantly listening to the Martin Roth/Eco sets.
