Pick up Blackstone. IPO tomorrow! Guna be up bright and early to trade this, it's going to be huge. oversubscribed 10 to 1! Google's IPO was only oversubscribed 4 to 1.

blackstone labs? the oil testing company?

if someone wouldn't mind committing another act of Blog-terrorism to make the stock dip............

Blackstone LLC [ticker tomorrow morning is BX], they are a private equity company (they buy out public companies i.e. buy all their shares, and then re-do them, and sell them on the public exchanges again). It's like flipping houses, except companies, they also do some other things, but this is like the worlds largest hedge fund going public. Big big deal.

Posted by MoBreakz on Jun-22-2007 04:31:

Blackstone the venture capital firm. They invest in undervalued companies and holdings to grow them and eventually sell or spin them off. Kinda like Sequoia Capital who were the initial investors of Youtube.com. Risky but high leverage business.

It should be a hot IPO! Ill be trading it fo chozze.

edit: beaten by minutes

Nice!!! you work for a brokerage or wirehouse? how do you trade? dude, I bet it will start selling at like 35 tomorrow morning... I am hoping it will sit at like $40 tomorrow evning at close, but we'll see. may the bulls RUSH!

Ever since I got my new iPod 30GB w/ video, the time counter on my 2-hour DJ mixes starts over after 1 hour and 23 minutes. Still plays to the end if you don't touch anything, but hit "back" or "forward" and it goes back to the beginning. Unless anyone knows of a firmware update that will correct this, then I'd say that Apple is doomed!

Have you given it a birthday by resetting it via the firmware software update thingy?

Nice finally meeting you and your DB meter last weekend!

I trade for myself and a few clients. I trade through MB Trading platform. Yourself?

BX opened up at 38.54 and now sitting at 36 and change. Insane volume over 45 Million and its only 7:20.

haha, work for wachovia FiNet (use thompson financial one, which is really awesome), we actually got some of our clients in at 31, because we had access to ipo price. for the ones that didn't get it, we got 36.45 or something, but talk about wierd day! I really would ahve thought it would have been more volitale than it was.

Just tried that today, but still having the same problem. Any track longer than 1:23:59 in length starts over at 0 at that point (the track still plays normally, but any FF or Rewind operation in the 1:24 to 2:00 range causes it to go back to the beginning of the 2 hour set). Gonna try updating the firmware and also my version of Anapod Explorer and see if that does anything though. Anyone work at an Apple store?

Nice meeting you too! I think we may have actually met at Red when BT played there, but not many peeps have met my DB meter yet...lol

Updated both iTunes and Anapod Explorer to current versions, and now this problem is fixed!
