Avoiding Work

So what do you guys do to avoid working? Besides TA of course.

i practice the art of falling asleep in a stall as if im taking a dump...

I go out to jobsites and nap in the site offices.... ahh the joys of being an engineer.....

that's when i just have days where i really dont feel like working. but yea...when i get on a roll and jam through all my shit, it's nice to look at the clock and discover i only have 30 minutes left till day is over.

I was just going to say that. I used to avoid work at all costs, and the day would just drag. Power through, get home and chill out.

Same. I'd sometimes get so bored at work ( not as in I had no work to do because I always have work to do) that I walked around, talked to everyone. I tried to waste as much time as I could that wasn't noticeable which made the day not go by faster instead dragged it on.

that's exactly what i want everyone to think cuz little do they know my elite haxing computer skills already has the job done so i can afford to look like i'm procrastinating cuz shits been done did done did it

i'm efficient and usually finish my work in 1/4 of the time it should take but am keen on job security and the perks...it's more like putting-off the down-time.

I was looking into engineering. What kind of work do you do during a typical work week

Spun in my chair for about an hour a day
Read TA
Had a nap in the site office
Got Tired of Slashdot and TA

Actual work:
Application Support right now I'm working in the vision/HMI division.
Completed my Price Quotes for the week
Responded to some technical support emails

My job is pretty much demand based meaning if the phone is not ringing I don't really have anything to do.

TA (and other various forums)
Beatport (and other various digital download sites)
craigslist (i'm on the hunt for an apartment so i usually check it a few times a week)
facebook
text messages
shop for things i can't afford
take long lunch breaks

i don't really avoid work though. if there's work to get done, i do it. i just take my time if i know things are gonna be slow for a while.

I go walk the dog. Walked her 3 times today. First time she was all excited. Second time she slowly and reluctantly walked over. Third time she was sleeping on the couch and I woke her up, then she gave me this WTF look.
