review; chus n ceballos @ stereo
Wow I must say. Was my first time partyingi mtl. Got to stereo at 4;30ish and joubin was dropping some good triabal tunes. I enjoyed his beats for the time I saw him.
Chus n ceballos came on at 5ish and the bald guy started, dunno which one it was but man was he ever good. He's the better part of the team
The system at stereo is no hype!! No need for earplugs as the system is so good! Only had to put. Them on at 830ish.
As said in a prev thread the crowd was more than blended!! But it didn't bother me much, I was there for the music!!
Stereo is all about the vibe. Can I steal stereo and bring it to toronto??
If stereo is to mtl what sonic was to toronto, I want sonic back
What time did the party end??
the bald guy is Chus.
I always found Ceballos played dirtier out of the two...
Glad you enjoyed yourself Pat.
Next time I will have to join you in the madness, but not for no tribal beats.
What happend to you and the techno??

Thats it...noone else has anything else to say about that night? Or all wne to preach? Man! Tribilicious is my favorate night at Stereo, those guys C&C, especially the first C, Chus really know how to pound it out for hour after hour after hours for about 8-10 hours, with heavy fat ass bass lines that dont stop building on eachother, thats a reason i go see them plus its Stereo Sound, ohh man, hopefully ill make the next one.
Dude glad you went and had a blast. Next time ur in town hopefully Stereo will have somehting good for you to. But you should have stayed for their entire set, best hours are the last ones

Made the trek from Toronto to Montreal for Chus and Ceballos. Thank God I did! What an awesome party. Chus started out from 5am to 7am and was building up the night nice. Ceballos wanted to play later on, so Chus set the mood. Hearing Roadkill at 5:45am on a sound system like that...oooooh it was heaven.
I stayed until about 11:30 am, and I heard from Chus and Ceballos after that they shut down around noon. They wanted to go later, but management told them to pull the plug.
Thanks to everybody that made it out this week-end club was a maximum capacity Friday and Saturday! we couldn't do it without your support
Blended Productions
Watch-out for STEREO SOUND 002 with Chus and Ceballos and JOUBIN release is schedule in about 5 months
Went to both, both fucking rocked, Blended is so fucking hot right how... It'll be interesting to see how the Grondin night goes, will be interesting to see what he does with all that time.
I left early on the c&c night but what i heard i liked, a couple vocals that werent so good, but lots of good shit in there as well

re:
My god, so many people in there! I was really impressed. Great vibe, great night.
Danced until 10 am, not bad for an old fart that hasn't gone out since cream2004...(!)
As much as I didn't like the first half of the night, I loved it from 7 am. Until 6 am, it was very, VERY hard to find a spot to barely dance without being pushed around. + people sometimes have no matters.
They started, like Erika said, with Eric Prydz - Armed, to get into tribal the track after. That was really a weird choice. First half was kind of dissapointing for me, cause it confirmed what I thought... Tribal, in his pure sense, hasn't much evolved in the last 4 years. Nothing surprising or very innovative...very predictable.
Around 7 am 8 am, was way more easy to move on that dancefloor, the repetitive tribal layed back a little and made room for some good Electribe, more subtle drums supported by nice Electric sounds, almost techno, and I enjoyed myself very VERY much. Second part definitely made up for the first half.
So, Tribal doesn't really do it for me anymore, BUT it was a huge success,a lot of nice people, and I can understand why Tribal has become so popular.
