Review: DEADMAU5 (live!), JELO, FLIPSIDE & More @ Footwork , June 23

Alright Sasha...I definitely agree, this party needs its own review thread!


Well after about 2 hours of sleep, i'm up and ready to go out...


But HOLY FUCCCKKKK!!!


I knew this was going to be awesome night, but I had no idea how great the beats were going to be!

I just want to thank you Jesus for creating such wonderful and Dirty beats!!!! Idon't know where we'd be without them :P

IT was also nice to see so many TAs there, old and new!! Definitely one of my top parties of the year!!


Oh, and Deadmau5...you fucking rock!

Sheer awesomeness Jelo and Deadmau5 Destroyed that place honestly that was my fav set ever i can't remeber the last time i had so much fun. I'm too braind dead to wrtie anything else right now ...just an amazing night WOW

Whew, this really was an awesome night. Deadmau5 ripped it, hell, everybody ripped it. i really enjoyed the versus portions of the sets.

WOW. music tonight was spot on. after not hearing deadmau5 before....but given a lot of hype, i had to check him out. i was definitly not dissapointed. little techno- bounce here....bounce there...house....he's his own style....and I LIKE IT.... i was truly enjoying what i was hearing.

the vibe was spot on as any time i've been to footwork- even though i was super tired, i'm really glad i made it out to this party-
good times with the usual suspects+great tunes=a successful night out!

That had to be my fav party so far this year.

Jelo's set was unreal

Deadmau5 was amazing

Some serious tunes were played last night... and all of you who were there to witness this were blessed with one hell of a night to remember

WOW , what a night... im fucking speechless. Its a good night when its no longer you who controls you body, but its the dj.

I FW. Seriously the best club in Toronto.

I still have a huge grin on my face from last night! doubt anything will top it anytime soon! Everyone gave their 100%... the Djs, the crowd the FW staff. It was a tremendously fun night.

Nobody could figure out how Deadmau5 would be able to follow-up the complete throw down Jelo put on us, but WOW WOW WOW!

The last time I saw footwork go this out of control was for Entrena.

Deadmau5 set definitely the best I have heard in months.

Crowd A+ and great meeting some new TAs last night

First time @ Footwork and i'll be going back forsure! Crowd was awesome and music was SIK!

P.S Jeff we sooo need to work on our chernobyl...forsure lacking in that department!

Although I think I should have stayed for deadmau5's set, Jelo really didn't put me in the mood . First time at FW and really liked the venue. Everyone is friendly and there didn't seem to be a high sketch factor. Nice seeing Sketchbag, Sasha, m2j and meeting Mortyman.

shoudlve stayed abit longer man. i came at 3am and did some flyering.

what a night, really glad i went... i was welcomed by deadmau5 outside with open arms ("hey, you fuckin' creep") hahaha.. first time i went to footwork and i was really impressed with how it's set up.. the crowd was great and it was good meeting and talking to a bunch of you guys. needless to say the music was amazing too, the highlight for me was the breakdown for 'the reward is cheese' .

i have a few pics here but nothing spectacular

never been to footwork's before... second time partying in toronto... drove 6 hours tryin to get to toronto (thanx map quest for FUCKED UP DIRECTIONS)... $160 worth of gas... ALL WORTH IT AND MORE... such an increadible night, such an increadible experience. you TAs kick ass, i met so many new people. thanx for takin us newer TAs in with open arms. Deadmau5 YOUR THE FUCKIN SHIT AND NO ONES TOPPIN YOU MAN!!!! Jelo - increadible set; he ripped roof off the effin club! i couldnt stop jivin out from 1130 when i got there till we closed the club down at 5. stupid amazing party, amazing music, amazing people, awsome club. A++++++++!!!! cant wait till sasha gets those pics up... wow talk about sketchy sunday

I still cant get over how amazaing this night was...

For me Jelo's set was the highlight of the night.

Deadmau5 was fucking sick but Jelo's funky / electro grooves realy did a number on me.

Same here man! Was fun getting lost downtown, my legs are more sore from all the walking than the dancing
