Smiley DJ Emersion @ Vision Thurs. 6/28 w/ The Hamptons, Milo, Mark Roy, SKS & D!G!T! $3 Drinks

Look out! This week we welcome special guests The Hamptons (all the way from Minneapolis, MN), Milo Wahi, Mark Roy & SKS. Once again no cover charge, $3 drinks, 1/2 off appetizers and relaxed dress code. All the fun the weekend has to offer without the cost!

THE HAMPTONS | Minneapolis, MN | Sound-In-Motion | The Hamptons was formed in late 2005 after a chance meeting between Tyler C and Daniel K at a show in Indiana (where both their sets were partially ruined by an anonymous drunken Chicago DJ also on this bill (come to te show and identify said DJ for a complimentary order of potstickers)). As recent transplants to the Minneapolis music scene they hit it off instantly. Between Tyler C's production experience and Daniel K's experience behind the decks, joining forces seemed to be an easy decision. Their DJ sets range from the deep and progressive to the biggest, dirtiest house cuts imaginable. They hold a weekly residency on the internet station ETN.fm in addition to their frequent gigs in the Minneapolis area. Tyler C has had success in the production world with tracks played by DJs like Markus Schulz, Darude, Art Of Trance and many others, along with a track featured on the recent Platipus Records compilation, "Tales Of The Unexpected". Some of their recent productions include: Nightriders - She Wants Me (Hamptons Popped Collar Remix), E- Tones - Get on Up (Hamptons Perca Perca Mix) & Island 9 - Daybreak (The Hamptons Mix).

MILO WAHI | You know & love him from his most recent appearance opening with an amazing set before John Digweed at Vision. Milo has played alongside many of the world's best DJs while making himself a staple in Chicago's music scene. He is also a resident of Detention Fridays with Hac Le & Mike Khoury. Click here for more info.

MARK ROY | Massive Events | Mark is a relative newcomer to the scene, but has quickly risen through the ranks as founder of Massive Events and as a regular at Johnny Chaos' Home party held in the Vision Penthouse.

D!G!T! | Digit Promotions | D!G!T! is a collaboration between Chicago based progressive house DJs Andy Olinski and Omar Bashir. After performing seperately for several years at many of Chicago's best venues, the two have combined forces to fuse their different styles and also collaborate on original production work. They also have launched Digit Promotions and after running a successful Thursday night event at Tini Martini they have created Emersion as a weekly event at Vision Nightclub featuring the best local talent from around Chicago, along with well known DJs from throughout the world. Click here for more info.

SKS (Steve Sembach) | SKS Photography | Although Steve is best known for his outstanding work as a photographer at club events, he is also an accomplished DJ & producer who most recently has collaborated with RJ Pickens and has been featured at Johnny Chaos' Home party.

I will be there! What the hell is that flyer up above? Was it inspired by LSD-laced pot stickers?

Courtesy of Milo. Pretty much sums up the events that take place, especially the drunken cat.

Eifel 65 - Blue or something like that? It will be played, Omar also officially endorses whoring ourselves out so consider it done. Oh and we will even remix a few Alice Deejay tunes or Cotton Eye Joe if that's what it takes to win this thing.

no - that Eiffel 65 song has some originality.

Let's make a pact now, whomever wins the Tiesto contest plays a vocal mix of Burned with Desire. I will cry at its beauty.

I think another wrestler may have died since this Monday so it will be the most significant DIGIT show since that wrestlers death. Just got a text about Steve Austin doing coke since we've gotten to moonshine.

Enjoy the flight Hamptons! Tomorrow we drink mass quqantities!
