I just thought of the coolest venue in NYC!!!!

The Statue of Liberty! Why hasn't anyone thought of this?! DJ booth in the face of the statue and have lasers shooting out of her eyes all over the place while everyone dances at the bottom.

A better venue, while not in nyc, is liberty state park. it could hold a festival type event. plus there's public transportation from the city to the park. the main problem being it's public property, with all those stupid restrictions.

no offense but thats the most idiotic idea i ever heard of in the past week and i'll concur i heard worse 2 weeks ago but ill keep my mouth shut to my other friends "proposal" while baked off his mind.

the edm scene in nyc let alone america wouldnt probly bring enuff support so i doubt it would work
and i dont even think the statue is open
is it still closed?
i know they closed it after 9/11 for terrorim or somethin
so now you can only go on the island but cant go in the statue
to me the best outdoor venues:
tobacco warehouse (without that fuckin tent)
the beach at long island city
battery park
bryant park

funny, as I am reading this, I hear the newslady on TV talking about how they are making strides to re-open the crown soon. But no official details.

*While I think this idea has very little potential, I would so be there if someone were to throw a party there*
