-- Familiarity in sets
Familiarity in sets
After this summer, I return to the small town where I study, and there isn't really an EDM scene there. Im getting gigs, but I want to create more familiarity in my sets with somewhat known tracks remixed into house and trance...or even just the melody of a famous track.
Some examples;
Brazen-Toto
Anna Nalick-2am(blake jarrel)
snow patrol-chasing cars(blake jarrel)
Proper Education
Help would be greatly appreciated

Even if they are mixes of top 40 tracks like
Pussycatdolls - Dont Cha (Kaskade Mix)
Justin Timberlake - My Love (Paul Oakenfold Mix)
Justin Timberlake - Like I Love You (Basement Jaxx Vocal Mix)
(also check out the 'Acid Dub'. Killer tune!)
Mary J Blige - Be Without You (Promo Only Remix)
Madonna - Sorry (PSB Maxi-Mix)
Get a subscription to Promo Only's Mainstream Club series. That should give you a decent variety on a fairly regular basis. (www.promoonly.com)
Where do you spin? I dunno where to go for tunes in Kingston...
As for pop tunes w edm remixes, there are few threads already...
RIght now I spin at Alfies(Queens on campus), and with KP promoters we are throwing events next school year at elixir and stages...Youve spun at Kingston before?
