Weather forecasters suck

They get my hopes up with a big flashy red alert for "severe and violent thunderstorms" coming this way. We get a couple of darker-than usual clouds and two hits of thunder in the far distance. Now I'm sad.

Thats why its best to be a meteorologist where most of the time you provide the people with opinions rather than facts

I could say a lot, but I'll leave it to a few others.

it's actually storming pretty badly here.

I know exactly what you mean. Especially when they say it's going to be a beautiful and sunny weekend and you make all these plans to go to the beach or pool and then when the weekend comes it's raining and thundering like there's no tomorrow.

ugh, i was going to write a rant, but it'd be pointless because it's impossible trying to explain something to someone so thick-skulled.

i work at a pool and if it thunders we close, but i have to stay there, so thunder = win. get paid to play scrabble? yes please!

so anyways, at like 6 today i was like wtf, thought it was gonna storm. and there were some dark clouds around, but nothing serious
so i did just a quick dance, and literally from the moment i stopped there was low rumbling for about a minute, then silence for another minute, then BAM like 5-10 bolts a minute for the next hour

and earlier i was talking to the new staff, they didn't believe that i had a thunder dance that worked
bitches!

i don't understand.. what do they suck?

btw you guys know what i say to weather man... if you knew the history between me and the weather poeple..... ud know why i am so angry at them

the only way a meteorologist can be 100% correct is if he makes predictions on what is going to absolutely NOT happen.
