Infinityloop - Fathom (melodic trance:320k)
Hi, new track for everyone- older track for myself. I'm going to start uploading some old tracks(2004-07) that are just sitting on my hard-drives and should be heard, shared, and played.
If you could give me some feedback thats awesome, it helps me stay happy

wow at the crispy sound...pretty good
the intro is cool and moving...I only don't think its too much DJ friendly, but that's ok
nice breakbeat and bitcrushing in places (in that little fill)
solid buildup
and good synthwork
good job iloop
only thing I would possibly leave out is that glitching of the main synth... sorry
It feels kind of progressive from the beginning of the song. This wasn't my idea of melodic trance but it's still a good song. The bassline gets kind of boring after a few minutes. Maybe try incorporating a more complex melody. Anyway, good potential here.
I like the way everything comes in at first, particularly the arpeggiated sounds. I'm not sure about switching up into breakbeat when the main lead comes in though. You go there and then go away from it too quickly in my opinion. Maybe if you dropped out the drums and put the breakbeat part in after that. I like the tone of the bass. The playing around with the lead later on sounds a little cheesy, no offense. I think the buildup and breakbeat part later on in the song after the drums drop out works better than the first time. I like the shimmery arpeggiated voice a lot too.
Peace, Agent Starchild
thanks for the feedback guys
