-- What genre of EDM ...
What genre of EDM ...
... is the hardest to produce, and what is the easiest ???
Give your opinions and why.
P.S: If this subject has already been covered post a link to the topic. Couldn't find any info using to search button.
There is no easy genre. The track can be as complicated or simple as the producer(s) wants. However if you have no talent but know how to use a sequencer you can be a hip hop producer.

...produce and then what?
Make it sound good? Make it sell? Make you feel good for yourself?
The question is far from easy to answer.
Even the simplest and most common form of music can be hard to produce if you want it to be something special. If else, you need a good marketing campaign to make it work
They're all easy. Making them sound good isn't.
this is a thread for production studio
good edm is hard to produce shit edm is easy to produce.
just throw a shitload of layers on something and it will sound as bad ass to the rest of the world as it seems to in basements across the land lol
IMO - Hardcore is the easiest. It is so fast, overbearing, and cheesy that it almost loses all musical quality.
This is a poorly formulated question.
A better one might be: "In what genre of electronic music do the producers, on average, put the most detail or unconventional / complicated techniques for sound generation into their productions?"
And that would be IDM, most likely.
IDM, experimental or very long ambient pieces
With IDM and experimental though you can just go ballistic on your computer or whatever production stuff and just randomly bash your hands on it then throw your laptop down the stairs, record it onto a lo-fi tape and scratch it all up and people will call you a genius.

I think psytrance is probably the hardest to produce. Hardcore easiest obviously here.

first, edm is the genre , thern there is the subgenres, just a little essential education. then here is my two cents, I always say that a good producer knows that complication in a track is just a cover up for lack of creativity. But to some it up, like said before in this thread, making a track sound good is the hard part no matter what style.
