Ratatouille

supposedly good.
discuss
is the plot about a mouse helping a chef to open a restaurant? if so, then that is not a very good sanitary message for restaurants!
I WANT TO SEE THIS MOVIE
I've heard nothing but good reviews about it, and I didn't want to see it.

I saw it today, I really liked it.
as a culinary student, i'm definitely going to see it.
saw this yesterday...it was pretty good. i think it'll be a good thing...maybe kids will get interested in cooking because of it.
man i love how beatiful animations are these days...
the eye candy is really delicious, but i didn't care for the movie itself. but then again, i didn't like The Incredibles at all either.

The flick was definitely not kid oriented. Many parents were walking out with their kids because
A) the dialog was adult-oriented
B) There was a LOT of dialog
c) The dialog that was happening was in a poor Frenglish - French accent/English words and was hard to understand even for grown ups
d) the storyline did not hold the younger audience like the Incredibles.
but....
I love Pixar. This cartoon was nothing short of magnificent. It's definitely not aimed at very little ones - it's more for 12+ audience. Perfect date movie, very touching and very sweet. Let's put it this way - I've not seen that many movies where audience actually applauded at the end of the movie - this was one of those... perhaps even longest applause I've heard for any movie.
Definitely worth a watch. And animation itself is mind-boggling. From nick marks on the laddle, to the way fur moved, the light, well - you know - pixar level stuff. Oh, and I loved the pre-feature little cartoon "Alien in Training" - that was funny as sh!t.
