I really like the intro and buildup. The melody is good. All the elements of it are good. It's not quite making me want to jump up and dance which interestingly enough is a probem I'm having in my tracks.

I think there's something getting in the way once everything comes in. It sounds very busy. There's a low rumble in the background that makes the rhythm harder to differentiate. I've been told to cut everything below 30-40 Hz as a way to address this. Your tamborine or hi-hat that's hitting every sixteenth note should maybe come in and out. I would vary the beat between 3 or 4 different ones and put fills at the end of every 4, 8, or 16 bars. Also take out the snare at times and have it roll at the end of phrases sometimes.

Those are my ideas, take them or leave them. I'm somewhat of a novice.

Peace, Agent

Hey no problem. By the way, check out my piece and tell me what you think. It's called "The Hive" and it's on this page somewhere at the bottom with ZERO comments.
