Anyone know of any free ringtone creators?

I went to cnet.com to check out some free downloads of ringtone creator software but they all cost money. Does anyone know of a free one before I decide to buy it and realize that I didn't need to? Thanks!

oh wow, there is a site where you upload an MP3, select the time u want the track to start and stop and how long it plays for, and then it sends it to your phone for free (unless it costs you money to get a text message). The sound quality is par....i'll post it in a sec when i find it.

If you get text messaging/internet on your phone you can just use a sound editing program to cut any song to 30 seconds ( I think most phones go to voicemail if its any longer than that ).

I use Wavepad http://www.nch.com.au/wavepad/

Google for a WAP uploader ( i use http://www.imserba.com/wapupload/ ) and you upload that edit to the site and it sends a link to your phone to download. I've sent ringers to friends with AT&T ( cingular ), Tmobile & Sprint this way. I don't know about Verizon.

verizon blocks all sounds as ringtones unless they are approved. so you cant use them as ringtones unless the software allows it. unless you have a windows mobile or motorola your screwed.
