Just that "one" track - Your nomination for all times
I know guys - there are countless top-10, top-20, fav-5 and all such threads (and maybe a thread like this one too). Please bear with me on this one and help me out - a humble request.
If i were to ask you to nominate just one track - just that one EDM track from all the tonnes of tunes you have or have heard, what would your nomination be?
This nomination is not year specific, nor genre-specific as long as it is from within EDM. For example, it could be house/break-beat/trance/techno or any of progressive/degenerative/housey-trance/trancey-house/mcprog etc. If you want to nominate one per genre, do that after nominating your "one" song.
Trust me, the answer may not come as easy as it sounds. I am still struggling to nominate mine even after spending last one hour and going over my umpteen "excellent" (i keep tracks grouped as average/good/excellent with most current-day tracks ending up in average) sub-folders on my machine.
One rule exists - you have to pick up your nomination from tracks excluding ones already nominated. You cannot nominate a song already nominated by someone. You can point to that nomination saying "That would've been my nomination too" but once it's already nominated, it's done for. You have to still nominate a song.
For example, if i was about to nominate "Orbital - One Perfect Sunrise" and if it's already nominated by someone, i'll nominate my second or third choice, say "IIO - Rapture (AvB Remix)".
Among my many selfish interests is to find out if there is a track out there worthy to be someone's alltime favourite and i haven't known of/heard of it.
Thanks in advance.
My own nomination (and for some special reasons):
DJ Tiesto - A Tear In The Open
I remember listening to it again and again and again, and for many days when it first came out. Don't recall any EDM track that i might have played so many times (The closest are probably Robert Miles - Children when it first came out and Motorcycle - As the rush comes).
Added Later: The first 101 Tracks upto Page-15 of the thread is listed below for your reference.

Wurz + Blosse - Tisto
I normally hate Tisto, but wow this song had me the first time I heard it. I love the female vocals in it, one thing that all my favorite tracks have (except like one or two) have is vocals, and I absolutely love this one. If I put this track on, and lower the bass down on the EQ it's so relaxing, yet if I do the opposite, it becomes a booming track and what not. This is by far my favorite track of all time.
Now for a small little list of genre. Well not really genre, but I guess style.
Vocal [Ecstasy - ATB]
Dance / Bass Booming [The Point of Impact - Pulser]
Euro / "Cheese" [Kylie - Akcent]
Other / Honorable Mention [Cafe del Mar - Energy 52][For an Angel - Paul Van Dyk][Suburban - Cosmic Gate (DJ Quicksilver Remix)]
Sugarglider - Slow Motion
I love how much emotion and thought goes into these posts about your favorite EDM song of all time...the one song.....
Talla2XLC - Shine

and I think the vocals you were talking about, is propably from the song before Wurz + Blosse; JASEfos Feat. Claire Van Der Boom -Do What U Want (Max Graham Afterhours In Montreal Mix).. or, maybe.. there are some short vocal-samples in Coca & Willa -La Noche also -the song after W+B, which, if I remember correctly, can be heard in the transition between Wurz + Blosse and La Noche..
Front 242- Headhunter
It'd be around 20 years old now and still rocks.

Inner City - Good Life
Nalin & Kane - Beachball
Elizabeth Fields -Speak In Sympathy (Original Solar Stone Mix)
Lange - feat Kirsty Hawkshaw - Sincere For You (Thrillseekers Remix)
This track is just simply amazing....the feeling it generates along with Kirsty's sweet voice is out of this world.
The Future Sound Of London - Papua New Guinea (Original)
PHrenetic System - Intensity
O'Callaghan & Kearny-Exactly
Telefon Tel Aviv - Sound In A Dark Room
System F - Out of the blue
Armin van Buuren - Blue Fear
BT ft Jan Johnston - Mercury & Solace(BT's 12" Mastermix)
this tune sounds just as good today as it did when it was released back 1999. A beautiful prduction, excellent vocal line and great melody.
hmmm this is what I ripped from the CD onto my comp

all the tracks are right, but um i guess i just got the two CD's mixed up, so yeah its from 1, even though i put 2 for some reason...ugh and yes there are vocals through the WHOLE song...not just transitions.
Man With No Name - Teleport
