dry.. first time spending it in Canada in over 3 years and i've never seen Canadians more subdued. it's like we party it up harder when we're abroad on July 1st. maybe it has something to do with the slightly more laxed drinking laws

I was also disappointed by this... although, walking around with a huge Canada flag on my back... I probably heard more Happy Canada Day's than most.

Jenny, shoulda stuck with me, I just flagged down a car outside and they gave me a ride to the guv, and they weren't even going there Hell, I wasn't even going there... but shit happens and sooooooooooooo glad I went

I NEVER wanna hear people bitch about the sound at the Guv again!!!
Last night that system was in FULL effect and I was just in awe of it! Talk about penetrating bass!!

Fri: Hostelled it for a staggette and seen a shitload of old friends I didn't expect to be there (best part of the weekend by far)

Sat: Footwork, was cool going back there, wish it was a little more jammed but I guess people were saving energy for Sun.

Sun: Wedding, was alright.

Mon: Bbq with people from last night.

I wish more people were as friendly in this city EVERY day as they are on Canada Day, I had someone even swipe their metro pass as I was buying a token and got me on the subway for free.

Went "camping" on saturday night, we had 4 DJs spinning mostly house and trance, partied till the sun started to come up, I lost my cellphone(jumped outta my pocket while I was dancing), almost got in a fight, then went home at ~6am. Went back to the campsite the next day, found my cell, drank some more, but only partied till 2am. I had a great weekend

Drove to Ottawa Sun.

Watched the fireworks. Then headed to Heaven for SVD's show. Left at 2am as I had to play at Sunrise Afterhours.

Drove home at 6am. Just got in from dinner with the fam. Good times, but I'm really fucking tired.

Friday: nothing
Saturday: campfire at night
Sunday (Canada Day): Beach in Grand Bend, then back to Waterloo for fireworks.
Today: spent the day by my parents pool

This is the type of weekend my body needed.
