Revised: Ignore Me (I'm Building An Army) 140 BPM
I have tried to follow some of the very helpful suggestions that Nem and Cybernetica made on this song. I tried to "master" it with eq, compression, and hard-limiting. I'm not sure if it worked. I hope it sounds a little better. I changed the title to "Eve of the Invasion" since people stopped ignoring me
and because that more precisely captures the theme I'm going for.

P.S. Please tell me what you think (especially all you fellow new people who I've been commenting on hard-core
)
I like the beginning atmosphere you've got. Kind of helps me imagine being lost in a forest and trying to escape in the night.
I think the kick could use more snap and thud. Something more powerful unless you wanted this song to settle in a subtle manner.
The piano at the break needs more reverb but since you've got quite a few notes playing it might get muddy. Either way I liked the melody and wish it continued throughout the song.
The rest of the song sounds pretty much similar to the beginning. It's a very good start especially with the background sounds. You just need some more powerful upfront synths. Hope this helps. Keep producing!
Thanks a lot for your suggestions. When you say the "rest of the song sounds similar to the beginning" after the piano part, are you thinking it should evolve into something a little different? Yeah the kick is weak. I'm reworking a lot of things about this (again).
Thanks, Agent Starchild
Comments as I listen:
That intro is very nice, and the bass is really deep.
I think the kick sounds pretty loose, could use some more punch.
The synths could use some work, at least the leads. They arent quite powerful enough. (imo)
The piano melody is really beautiful.
I think the hats might be a bit too loud?
Keep producing, you have some great ideas.
Thanks bro. I appreciate the suggestions. I'll take a look at your stuff when I get a chance. Peace, Agent
