Hi everybody,

I got tired of working on another one hihi, so here she is, I think it's a step up & improvement from my last track
Let me know what you guys think of it

I actually did a proper mix where I dropped everything to audio and then went through and balanced and adjusted everything in order to have it sit well in the mix. I think it improved the quality quite a bit.

This is mastered as well, though I'm just learning mastering so it's more of a tryout but I think I did a pretty good job anyway.

I don't really listen to psy but I'm gonna give it a listen.

Cool effects in the beginning. Keeps things busy right away. I can tell you know your synthesis. I like how things change up every now and then. I'm thinking that is what psy is about. The synth at 4:30 is awesome. I love that distorted sound? How do you make it?

Nothing really much else to say besides being a clean production. Your mastering is fine. Good job. I haven't listened to your other work, but this has quality.

hey thanx for listening, and for the nice comments especially seeing as you usually don't listen to this style.

That sound at about 4:30 that comes in and then sorta fades into the breakdown was made with the new Spector synth in Cubase 4, I also used Camelspace for the gated sound. The distortion you hear is actually just the combination of the sound coming from Spector's oscillators (spectrum oscillators). There is also a bit of filter modulation from CamelSpace in which the filter adds a bit of distortion to the overall sound as well.

All the new synths in Cubase 4 seem to have this sorta built in overdrive or distortion when you push them that sounds really nice.
Though getting a really good quality sound out of them can be another task all in it's self though heh.

Okay I cleaned up the track some more. I removed the Multiband compression because I don't know what I'm doing with it really. Also removed the mastering reverb because again, same situation. So we basically have the mix and a bit of loudness maximizing.

So not a full master but the link above has been fixed,
