Review :: Sultan & Dubfire @ Stereo :: July 1st 2007

Ok so Sultan totally destroyed the place...Dude, man, respecttttttttt for that set...You blew me away once again. I said it be4 and i'll say it again: Never in allll the times I've come out to see you play have you EVERRRRRR disappointed me, you just impress me more and more each time...Total musical trip and a half, awesome crowd, fully packed, great vibe going, one of those Stereo nights to be remembered...So thank you man, so much...

Ummm, as for Ali I fell asleep

Left at 6am, slept til 2pm, and am going back to bed shortly.

Maher, thank you for this weekend, wouldn't have been the same without u xxx...

you should NOT have left.... Ali's set was the dirtiest darkest, most moving set i have ever heard. probably one of the top 5 to grace my ears in this life time, no joke.

Got to the end of Sultan's set after spending the whole night at opera, spectacular as usual.

I had not heard Ali since last year's Bal en Blanc, and let me just say i was reaally impressed. His new sound is wow,his mixing was crisp, the crowd was loving the dirtiness and so was I. The only downer was that it was like a steam bath in Stereo, even in the booth !
my hair felt like a duvet on my head !
