Official AU.TA's in Asia thread!

I want to go to Japan.

They got some cool funky shit like...

- snowboarding with hot springs (onsen) and beer afterwards
- own sense of style and fashion
- 24-hr karaoke
- cute chicks in schoolgirl outfits (go Pkc!)
- JAV
- ramen
- toilets that sing when you flush
- mount fujiyama
- cherry blossoms
- festival celebrating penises
- pepsi ice cucumber drink



So yeah... I want to go to Japan.

Liz is in Thailand at the moment. Man I want to go to Thailand too.

looks like i'll be spendign a night in Tokyo on my way to the states come October.

what crazy stuff can i do in Tokyo in a 24hr period

hopefully all that, mins the karaoke.

yeah i am keen as to make my way to Japan hopefully at the end of the year see how I go for cashola! Should be sweet! Just have to get me mate to come with! Shouldn't be too hard, but money is such a bitch! :P

will be in Thailand 26.12 - 24.01, anyone else planning a trip over that way?

Ana & I have been in Thailand since January 20th, but will be home in 4 weeks before ana & I go back after our wedding in October.

There's been some big name Dj's play here - Ferry Corsten, Brian Cross, Ronski Speed & Cosmic Gate (Nic Chagall) but missed the first 3 due to ana's illness & totally had know idea that the latter was playing untill the after the gig

PS. PKC, there's alot of hot looking thai girls looking for a falang

I went to japan by myself for 5 weeks in december-jan, 05/06-- best thing i've ever done--- maaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaad country, everything about it...

such a wikkid place to travel: also, all the chicks are cute AS!! and there are like, no white people... hehe
I saw less than 10 people who weren't japanese there, the entire time i was there. ah, xenophobes pwn when u wanna have a traveling experience with no other annoying tourists around!

also, despite erroneous rumours, it's not a really expensive place to visit: prices are pretty much the same as they are here- there's cheap places, and expensive places.

It's a bit scary travelling in a country where you don't know their language and they don't know yours (i didn't speak any jap before i went), and there's nobody around to help you out, but that's the fun of it!! all the people are nice, so they're pretty understanding, as long as you can work shit out for yourself at the end of the day... like, how to get back to your hotel etc

You forgot to add the legal age for drinking in Japan is 2.

Yes I'm in my last days of my third trip to Thailand and it gets better every time! Saw some savage thai boxing last night but it was actually very entertaining. Completed a thai cooking class and made a red curry from scratch. For a girl who has never cooked much in her life I was really proud

Next on my agenda is Hong Kong, China, Japan and maybe Malaysia.

I should be up there late July/early August and will see what I can do but I dont think I would be good under pressure!

Heading over to Thailand again end of the year, had so much fun last year! Will be partying it up hard with the G mista!

I am heading over there between 23.12.07 and 6.1.08. could only get 2 weeks off work unfortunately. planning on heading to the south mostly (with a couple of days in bangkok) but am so confused as to how to make the most of the limited time i have there!!

What kind of things do you like to do?

Hope to do maybe ~6 days with phuket as a base and do day trips to islands for scuba diving (is krabi better for this purpose?). Then ~6 days Koh Samui / Koh Phangan for partying (full moon party worth going to?) and finish with a couple of days in Bangkok.

Is the best way to get to koh phangan from phuket by flying via koh samui or by taking a bus across to the east side of the peninsula?
