Question for hardware techies
My USB mouse has stopped working. The laser doesn't fire up any more. It doesn't work on any of the USB ports on my laptop. I plugged it in my friend's laptop and it immediately gave an error "USB device has exceeded power requirement". I want to know if the mouse circuit is fried or I can still fix this problem.
how many megaflops is it rated for?
its probably a short in the cable
get a new mouse

just insert the usb port into the gforce mega ramrod and then restart your computer. enter in safe mode and run a firewall scan and then restart again and you should be up n running fine after that.

Rewire your main input energon flux to your primary phase capacitators then overwrite the plasma injector's automatic sequence and bypass it by rerouting to your tertiary anti-mater reactor. Reverse the polarity of your takeon field inverter to create a sub-space field surrounding your computer.
If that doesn't work, get a new mouse.
Change the optical pickup fluid.

Slylee, everyone knows you can't run a firewall scan in safe mode, as firewall is disabled. ...Unless you go in with a networking mode enabled. I'd recommed replacing the optical transmitter capacitor with a voltage inverting tranceducer and running a bypass on a floating point unit of the MPU, unless MMX is also down and HT is running at 1/2 capacity. Bottom line - best bet - new mouse. |

well if anything fixable is possible, check the connector, and see if anything is stuck in there, or bent and then jam it back in place.
i do this all the time with ps2 stuff, and its less likely with USB, but otherwise get a new mouse...|
