Vestax bought out Numark?

OK, I need some more info to back this all up but I was speaking witht he Numark rep the other day trying to find out when my TTX's are shipping out and we got to talking. He told me that Vestax bought out Numark and but they are still gonna produce under both manufacturing names. He claims Numarks products are really increasing in quality do to this merger or buy-out. Anyone else here anything of this?

When I first started DJing as a mobile DJ, Numark gear I found was cheap and good enough to provide what I needed for those cheesy discos. However for proper Club purposes...yeah, they suck

I Had my first live performance at a club this friday
and they had a Numark mixer
The damn thing kept getting overloaded and messing up the sounds
it even shuted down in the middle of of my set!!!

But BTW
Did you know AvB uses one in his studio?

the lounge i spin at has like a stanton rs-30 or something like that, i only remember cuz the dude said the rs stood for 'really sucks'
heh

how are stanton mixers generally?

ive only used that mixer, pioneer djm-600, and my shit vestax pmc-3a pro before
so just wondering.

straight from tiestos mouth in an interview at his solo dutch dimension set 2002 "the stanton vrm 10 is the best mixer in the world". Its what he used for his set that night...check it out...>

This Stanton VRM-10 mixer is absoloutly amazing.
Its based on the Stanton valve system and its so smooth you can die.
I had the chance to mix some tunes with this one on a DJ presentation and the thing is amazing.
Its just so expensive.
And BTW it was costum made for Tiesto's set at the Dimesion I think...

The Stanton mixers overall are reasonable, not all of them are like the VRM-10 but they have average sound quality and they are durable.
