DVD Cataloguing site

Is there such a thing? Like discogs but for DVDs. I've just successfully managed to purchase a DVD that I already own. Great! I have far too many now and don't really want to make that mistake again.

I use dvdspot.com

Spot on. (Did you see what I did there...)

Cheers.

*Bump*

Does anyone know of any more sites? That dvdspot site is a load of shit for UK / Region 2 dvds - The database is missing loads from my collection, and I'll be fucked if I can be arsed to add them.

Cheers.

imbd has all the information about a movie. actors, film location, studio, director etc...

i dont know if you knew about it or not.

Yea. It's not quite what I need though. It's good for general information about a film/show, but unfortunately it doesn't get specific with dvd release information like that dvdspot site does.

dvdspot is the sort of thing I'm looking for. I just need it to have a better and larger database of releases.

hmm you could try www.listal.com or http://www.dvdaf.com/ but most people prefer dvdspot. =/

http://www.invelos.com/ is also another one but I think you need to pay a fee to get all the bells and whistles

two copies of "two pints of lager & a packet of crisps"? lol Jan dared me to say that last night, isn't it that shitty bbc thing that ppl like coup watch because they won't pay for sky?

http://www.invelos.com

Their DVDProfiler is the best tool and if you want your collection on the net you just pay the 25$ fee and get all the goods with it.

Been using this tool since my early dvd collection times and now for my bluray discs.

Highly recommendable!

This is brilliant. I've added about 60 so far and it's only failed to have 1 that I own. Much better, thanks.

However, is there anyway to remove the 'your database now contains more than 50 profiles. etc.' pop up that keeps showing when I go to add new DVDs? The website even says that staying unregistered, you still get all this:

"Unlimited collection size, no ads, no time limits, no nag screens"

Yet I keep getting this fucking pop up.

edit: never mind, seems to have fucked off now.

Cheers. Gonna go with DVDProfiler though. Just finished adding my collection and I only had to add 6 or 7 myself. Good shit.
