Breaks Tracks
hey i have been doing a lot of breaks sets lately, but with the crowd i'm playing to, i need to throw in some popular(ish) songs to keep them interested. what i have been doing is dropping mainstream pop/rap tracks behind the breaks tracks and they like that, but do you guys have any breaks remixes (of popular songs) to reccomend? 70's, 80's, 90's, or new tracks are appreciated. i'm just trying to diversify my music library ~ you know how it is...
thanks bisco
as far as breaks go im the remix king lol
if you looking for them on vinyl good luck...
but here are some and i think you might be able to tell who they are from the song titles
Bass Junkies - Sunglasses
DJ Trashy - I Wear My Sunglasses At Night
DJ X - Use Your Love (R-Fresh & Infiniti mixes)
DJ Fixx - Serious Sounds (found on the Get Sum red lable vinyl)
Gary Jules - Mad World (Stefan's Journey Into The Madness mix)
Guns N Roses - Sweet Child o Mine (Fung and Trippy mix)
Flip One - I Died In Your Arms
Van Halen - Jump (DJ Shaolin, DJ Raydar, DJ Ricochet remix)
there are also PLENTY of remixes of popular trance tracks out there

One I've heard played quite a bit although not so much lately is Freeland's remix of Smells Like Teen Spirit.

Tiga & Zyntherius - Sunglasses at Night
and nothing fucking beats when i saw Freeland drop the remix, then mix into the original Smells Like Teen Spirit, have the entire club shouting and headbanging, and then back to the remix.
had me smiling for days.

| Originally posted by Mr.Mystery Well most of them are bootlegs so they wouldn't be there. All the tracks I listed are in vinyl form, mostly purchased from Chemical Records. |
