Love Poundin' Sensation Sarah Calsworth - Independence Day Mix

Heylow people.

So yeah... I haven't recorded a mix in like 3 years due to illness (I've been stuck in a hospital bed for most of it, not good for the mental side of things trust me!!)

Anyway, I've been mixing a lot since I've been home.
I did a little mix today, I feel it's still got the "me" sound of yester-year but with newer tracks obviously.

Some of it is newish tunes, some not so much.
I've never been a promo wh0re anyway, those kind of dj's tend to bore the hell out of me and the mix never puts me into a dreamworld.

Some of this is cds ive recieved while away, a couple vinyl, some are tracks ive heard from mixes in here and decided to buy.

So here it is, something new which I'm only going to post in this forum
I hope you enjoy,

KEEP PROGRESSIVE TRANCE ALIVE!!

Link is above.

Hope you enjoy!

Tracklist will forllow shortly if you enjoy it, but going from 3 years ago, you guys will probably have it ID'd in like 1 day anyway hehe!

Love

Sarah,

I've given myself an almost daily-dose of your mixes for the past 3 years, they still haven't gotten old, so this'll be nice to hear!

I'm also glad to hear that you are feeling good enough to get back to the decks and to do what you do so very well!

I'll drop back in after the weekend to give some thoughts on your Independence Day Mix.

Cheers,

THC

hey welcome back

I was stuck in hospital for a month over xmas and new year and I was going nuts! So I can't imagine 3 years!! You've gone well to survive the experience. I'm sure you've learnt quite a bit about yourself in that timeframe. Lots of thinking time in hospital!

Will check out your new mix soon.

Btw, your site seems to be down.

ohh this is very exiciting.

Glad to hear everything is better Sarah, missed your mixes over the last couple years.

I will drop some feedback as soon as I am finished listening to it.

Wow! I've been wondering where you are!

Cool. I still listen to the old mixes I got from James.

Glad to see you're ok and still mixing.

Downloaded.

I'll have a listen sometime during work. I know I have the first track, I just can't remember the name. It's a good track.

I should of replied in here sooner really!

don't expect nothing ground breaking with this one, it was just something to get me back into it all again until my feet are fully on the floor.

TwoHardCore : It's probably not as good track selection wise as my old mixes, but i've been out of the scene for like 3 years, and these were just tracks that appealed to me on my first week back home, either way i still enjoyed doing it and there are some good tracks in there.

eRRaTiK : Yeah hospital life was a b1tch! I'm usually a happy person but that place definitely tested me

ACiDx_ : Thanks, but expect better mixes soon

Clovis : I sort of remember you from a good time ago, yeah I'm still here, just! You on about JC by the way?

Yep good ole Cosgrove, who appears to have subsequently dissapeared himself! He linked me to a bunch of your mixes from 2004.
Listened to this the other night, good stuff, not exactly my style anymore, but definitely far from run-of-the-mill! And your mixing skills are still very tight, as always.

It's funny, just the other day I was playing an older mix of yours I found on CD for a friend who is a local trance/progtrance DJ, she really liked it. It was some set that ended with the Alx Odden mix of Oceanlab - Satellite, via some great progressive stuffs.

Anton Sonin & DNA - Tonight ← TOON! glad to see you put this in your newer mix too (which I'm just grabbing now).

I think you have got quite a unique taste in music Sarah. You are definitely the most pleasurable Prog-DJ I've ever listened to. In the 9 mixed sets I've got of yours, there are only 2 songs which I can't listen to, both tracks with Astrid in your "Live on TAW, June 12" mix from 2004.

I love this set! I've listened to it at least a dozen times I'd say, since the weekend, and can only sing praises about it. Most are good tracks, some great, and the mixing and the overall sound of the set is 100% Sarah Calsworth from yesteryear!!! Great Stuff!

If I knew how to change my status over ←, it'd say "Sarah Calsworth fan" . Love ya babe!

Cheers,

THC
