Well a few words about the mixing...
I worked with ableton live this time (actually the first time I am doing a mix in it)... and it turned out very good, definately better than the first mix. I know its less hands on than Traktor but for any prerecorded set I prefer ableton big time now, the FX you can use and the automation are definately cool.
I also compressed this quite hard to the limit as you might notice, to make sure the overall levels are even. Some tracks could be considered overcompressed, but I like this stuff loud and proud.
Enough bla bla,
thanks for all who participated, I had great fun with mixing!

Websites are in my siggie
Thanks to Cybernetica to start this event, this really got me going again and I had a blast with this.
downloaded
will listen tonight, thank you cyber for organizing this.
I've only given it 1 and bit listens too but you've done pretty well cobbling these together as a showcase, it really picks up a head of steam and rolls along. (for a showcase cue's though for when the tracks are might be nice?)

Cool, I've been waiting for this one.
Thanks for putting this all together Cybernetica! Downloading as I type. I was wondering if you could put some track times on the track listing in the first post. I'm sure someone, or myself despite never having done it before, would be happy to make a cue file.
Thanks again!
19% and counting... HURRY!
nice
I was away for a bit. I'm downloading now, will get it up on my server as well to help spread out the load...
here's another link to download the mix from

Downloading. This is going to take a while, since the connection where I am sucks so bad. In the meantime, I'll just note that a website with a bio is linked in my sig. I don't think it mentions that I use pretty much only use FL Studio, Synth1 and Tweakbench Pressure in all of my productions.
I'm just starting to listen to this
very cool intro...
I have a feeling I'm in for a ride :P
Thanks. :P *attempts to post more often*
anyway cheers d=
=b
whoa this great cybernetica
!
i'll download this as soon as I come home,
im in NY atm
keep this bumped!
cyber, when mixing try not to apply a very wet effect, instead apply it slowly from dry to wet and take it off the same way unless its a brakedown, otherwise it sounds like you suddenly drop a very loud reverb or flanger, which sounds like something is actually wrong
i used to do that, untill i've seen people's faces at a party, it looked like i made a mistake and what not eventho it was intentional, not to take away from the spirit of this set, it ended up being great!
this aint astrix and kindzadza, this is home made choons by TA members, thats what makes it so good
Ok, thanks for the advice MegaMan
.. I used a limiter to make sure the FX are not clipping like hell at least
.. btw, did you notice some FX in ableton live dont have a dry/wet fader? Thats a bit annoying. Nevertheless, I like it for mixing and already started preparing my next warpcore mix
I have no idea about the cue file though. Never did it before, but if someone here could do it for me it would be great
... I am writing down the track times for you though, and will include the personal info you gave me
Looking forward to hearing this mix.
ableton does not have dry/wet function? meaning that effects that you apply will always be loud? omg thats weak
nevertheless, ableton is a very powerfull proggy, for mixing at least, i personally prefer cubase for production and traktor 3 for mixing
recently "Serato" been selling out for mixing needs, my friend even bought one, never used it but heard many times that its the bomb, paul van dyke and tiesto are using one too
CUE FILE!!!

Didn't use the exact times from the first post. Picked some times that seemed to come in clean to the next track with most of the transition at the end of the previous track. Let me know if I majorly screwed up on a time. All tracks are tagged w/ artist/title as well.
Thats a great mix. It's interesting to hear how much my track differs in quality to the others.
Time to invest in some proper studio monitors methinks
I thought it was a real stand out along with the Lehto tracks actually, Cybernetica tends to have very high quality production though so it can be a bit overwhelming I've even found even putting it back-to-back in a mix with people who are signed up 'big names'.
Nice! Gj Cyber!
