looking goofy while spinning...

ok, i'm only half serious... but does anyone else have this problem?

i'm so into what i'm doing when i'm spinning for a crowd, i'm either staring down on the decks, pitching my stuff, or when it's a good moment and i'm trying to interact with the crowd, i feel kinda goofy.

then, all my pictures of me spinning, i look like a bear on the decks. i'm kinda bulky, and generally a bit clumsy, so i take extra special effort to no bump into anything while i'm up there.

anyone else have this happen to them? it's kind of hard when i'm asked for a nice promo picture to have to scavenge threw a few hundreds just to find one that looks decent. haha.

i guess as long as the music is good then? the rest is up 2 you, everyone has there own way just be you.

(few drinks may help you feel more relaxed or it will make u just not care what u look like)

i'm talking about looking goofy specifically while spinning. i look like a little kid in a trance, playing a video game or something, in my good pics. in the others, i look so wasted it's not even funny (while being 100% sober). some people have told me it has to do with posture, and how i seem to carry myself when i'm on the decks. just thought it might happen to someone else.

yea same here....especially when i start bouncing to the beat...people think i am one of those wierd add kids thats humping the decks

and think about this...i do performances at my school so people are like wtf...at least you don't know the people that you spin for...

yea, like when i watch a dj, i am not practically blocking him from reaching the decks. I stand far enough, like two or three feet from the decks, to see what he is doing, and introduce myself when he is done with a transition...people are clueless sometimes...and they get mad when you tell them to move...its like wtf i have to push some guy out of my way, numerous times, so i can put a record on the deck
