Above & Beyond present Tranquility Base - Oceanic
I love this one
I would've expected it to be good...since all releases under the Tranquility Base alias are awesome, but damn
There's also a Super8 & Tab remix, but that's not half as good as the original!
...can't wait until it gets released!
It's one of my favorite tunes right now, the original, the finest piece of melodic i've heard in a long time. I love that gated choir-sounding thing that slides between a few notes, and later an actual voice does the same thing. The piano is nice and the rest is just typical Above & Beyond sounding production, works really well.
I also like their recent Above & Beyond - Home (Club Mix).
also a stereotypical sean tyas effort is part of the remix package.

Quick question...
Why do they keep presenting Tranquility Base if they have already presented it like 5 times?
I can't believe Satoshi Fumi remixed this track. Tyas actually did a decent job on this I though. But still, I can't get over Fumi remixing this.. just too random.

Oceanic sucks. Super 8 & Dj Tab are loosing their touch. They dont produce good music like they use to. Would you all agree ir disagree that this new music they produce is better than what they made in past?

a very dissapointing release. i like 'buzz' much better and actually hoped that they would release with this. pity!
that super8 & dj tab remix has a nice bassline and as i was hoping that some climax was going to appear, it didn't. the sean tyas remix is just a little tougher version of the original, at least that's what i think of it.
the two satoshi fumi remixes i still don't know what to think about. i'll give them another go
waiting for 'buzz' and the club mix and wippenberg remix of 'home' to arrive pretty damn soon

Crap, especially when compared to Surrender and Getting Away.
Generic as it comes, piano sample sounds almost identical to some cheesy hardtrance track from 2002, AND Tyas did a remix.
Booooooo!
It was the greatest track he played here in cancun.... It was a remix.. unknown for me, not the super8, not the original, not Sean Tyas, not satoshi fumi

I think the track is very good, though still not a patch on Surrender.
