Discovered by the Get Physical camp, Belgian producer Jonathan, although still in his early 20s, will be a name to watch. He originally paved his name as a guitarist of some repute, influenced by the legendary Joe Satriani, and schooled by the great Gérard Jouffroy,_Jona’s blues background as well as his love of techno (he has studied sound engineering_and has also released on Serie Records and Color, Strobe, Fumakilla) has seen his Get Physical debut, called ‘Learning From Mistakes’ propped by the likes of Laurent Garnier and Mylo. Jona is currently working on his first album for Get Physical Music and has had the singles 'Learning from Mistakes' and 'Fisherman' featured on the recently released "5 years of Get Physical" compilation showcasing the best releases the label has had to offer. Support from Agent 86, Ben Cromack, Lewie Day, Dean Millson, Deviant, Stray.

yeah Jona was pretty fucking good. add that one to one of the best set by an international for 2007.

house, tech house and techno beautifully layered with very subtle buildup with distinctive rolling relentless basslines.

fucking good times were had, and then some!

Jona was in top form. Definitely one of the best few hours of music that we've had at Pretty Simple. Top night, i concur with Gerry Easily up there with Babicz for me.
