air conditioning and dj equipment
My DJ equipment is setup near the window that holds my air conditioner and lately I've been leaving the A/C on all night. When I wake up, I notice liquid all along the outside of my turntables (Stanton st-150s) and eventhough I keep them covered the rest of the table is also moist. Does this happen to anyone else and can this ruin my turntables? The mixer (Xone92) which sits in the middle shows no effect from the A/C.
Re: air conditioning and dj equipment
I would be concerned about the condensation you CAN'T see... inside the tables and mixer and such. I would move your gear or the AC unit.

Leave a piece of electronic gear in a garage for a year with hot/cold temp fluctuations and see what happens to it...
That answers your question.
Move it, or risk wrecking it.
