Orignally posted by Bas
vagoo

i really have no choice but to wonder-

Posted by Frenchie on Jul-12-2007 05:47:

90% of the time, yes.

Posted by Sushipunk on Jul-12-2007 05:48:

I guess I do. I never really though about it before.

Posted by RJT on Jul-12-2007 05:48:

Yes.

Posted by gehzumteufel on Jul-12-2007 05:49:

lol this is bas your talking about.

Posted by tubularbills on Jul-12-2007 05:50:

oh yeah, definitely. Its become more of a habit, i think, rather than the way i actually do speak. but as far as commas and punctuation are conerned? totally.

Posted by Frenchie on Jul-12-2007 05:50:

I never heard him say vagoo but if I did I'd say, "haha , you're such a fag"

Now does this vagoo sound like Ragu?

Actually, yes. Any number of TA's can independently verify that for you.

Kind of. I'm funnier in person. I cant bring my kind of funny into text it would be weired. Some characteristics of Dane Cook.

I'm the same. My accent and the way I say things tend to carry more humour in person than on a forum.

Posted by basd on Jul-12-2007 12:11:

Yes.

Posted by eROs.au on Jul-12-2007 12:13:

ya i do

Posted by Jase83 on Jul-12-2007 12:15:

I tend to put more thought into things that I type rather than say for some reason.
I'm not a very confident speaker in person at times. Which can blur the outcome of what I'd originally intended/thoughtout to say... It can be quite frustrating..
I need to work on my social skills a bit.

Posted by Soonmeister on Jul-12-2007 12:49:

Depends on how lazy i am lol on public forums and new people i type "proper English" the best i can but in front of mates i really do type like i talk.

" Alrite matey ow thee do, ya fancy a mooch to t`shop for a couple ov tins n so on an make ar way back to our kids gaff n chill out "

Just a little example of how i speak lol

Posted by noikeee on Jul-12-2007 12:54:

i don't know, i almost never talk in english

Posted by Slylee on Jul-12-2007 12:55:

yea i guess i do. i dunno.

i think my posts/humor start to make a lot more sense after someone has met me or talked to me though

You do talk like you post, no question.

I'm pretty certain that there is very little difference between how I type and how I speek... except my spelling is better when I speek.

Posted by stren on Jul-12-2007 13:49:

i talk in a different language

Posted by dj tek on Jul-12-2007 13:51:

word...

Posted by Silky Johnson on Jul-12-2007 14:09:

Yep. I think I swear less IRL though. Maybe not, depends on the situation I guess.
