Question about the following unreleased bootlegs and remixes...
I have a number of old unreleased tracks, most of them remixes of pop tunes... I don't know if these are leaks that shouldn't have been sent out, or if they were discretely released by the remixer and are ok to play... Was hoping someone could help me sort out the legality of the following:
Pop tunes...
Anna Nalick - Breath (Blake Jarrell Remix)
Carl B. feat Breaking Benjamin - Diary of Jane (Sean Tyas Remix)
Coldplay - God Put A Smile Upon My Face (Matthew Adams Remix)
Radiohead - Everything In It's Right Place (Mike Foyle Intro Mix)
Coldplay - Swallowed In the Sea (Freek Geuze Gues Blue Wave Remix)
Coldplay - White Shadows (DJ Preach Remix)
The Police - Message In A Bottle (Maori Remix)
Martin Roth - Sandman is Dancin' ((Metallica))
Original productions...
Signalrunners - All That Changed
Aalto - 5 (Nitrous Oxide Remix)

nutz, i guess i wont be playing any of these anytime soon
anna remix was leaked and the vinyl release was a bootleg done without any permission (and pressed from a 192kbps mp3 lol)
i do not mind if people play the mp3 but would rather people not support the vinyl release.

Aalto - 5 (Nitrous Oxide Remix) - That was released on vinyl 100%
Diary of Jane was heavily leaked, but I'm sure it did get an official release

I don't see how releasing a track done without the artist's permission (eg the coldplay track) on a personal website makes it legal to own / play? i seriously doubt coldplay approve every bootleg done by amateurs
