Talk about really LOW minimum requirements...Really fantastic news for those who wish to play the game with a low end system.

Canadian game store, Future Shop, have posted the system requirements on the Crysis product page. This is great news to all those who still own computers from the 20th century. Here's what you'll need to run Crysis. * Optical Drive: DVD-ROM * CPU Speed: Intel 933MHz Processor * Disk Space: 2.0GB * Display: NVIDIA GeForce 3 64MB or ATI Radeon 8500 64MB * Memory: 256MB * Operating System: Windows 98/ME/2000/XP, Not Mac Compatible An Intel Pentium III, 933mhz processor, a 64mb graphics card, 256mb of ram and Windows 98 is all you need to play this next-gen game we call Crysis. Crytek weren't lying when they said the engine scales well. |
I almost don't believe it
and here's how it looks at those specs
:

| Note: In case you don't get it, this is obviously misinformation that's been posted by accident most likely. I'm only posting this for a laugh so please don't take it seriously. Apologies if you got excited by the misleading title :-) |
their is no way those are the requirements....u are gonna need a duo core and atleast 2 gigs ram and a geforce 6800+ video card
ill bet my 6400 you wont need a dual core.
So what? Low system specs really mean very little in terms of how the game will actually run and play on a system like that.
with those specs, it's gonna look like a slideshow

oh no, they are phasing out the ATI 9XXX series. why god, why me!
me, too. the one part of my desktop that I cheaped out on. When I got it, I figured I'd never play anything on the pc. Now I kinda want to, though, but the good cards are so insanely expensive now. Hell, I could just buy a 360 instead.
8800 GTS 320Mb cards are under $400AU. thats not too expensive. and they rock.
Crysis release date November 16, 2007.
