Biggest and best festivals in peoples opinions?

Intrigued to know what peoples favourite festivals are. Thinking of doing one next year out of the UK.

Love parade? Sensation? Dance Valley? I've heard they are all great events..But if you had to do just one, which would it be?

uk wise (for those who don't know) this year there's been gatecrashers summer sound system, gkgg, south west 4 (london & wales), antiworld's huge 3 day one, creamfields, and I'm sure ireland & scotland have had/will have one

I've always heard dance valley & mysteryland were good. Sensation & trance energy as was are too much about just being there amongst kids. Then you have whatever they put on in germany if anything, which will always be brilliant. Sonar in spain for tech/minimal & more, and of course the wmc in miami but i've heard more & more bad things about that. Since you're in the uk, try holland or germany imo, cheap flights, accom and friendly people

non-edm u obv have glastonbury which has some electronic but as much if not more, bands & stuff, pinkpop in holland looks great as does rock am in germany at the f1 circuit, hockenheim.

Abroad, personally I've had fun at GKGG, Love Parade and Street Parade, although opinions are mixed about the first two.

in 2004 there was no love parade.

in its place there was Fight The Power. damn awesome

I'd imagine the parade would be pretty cool too.

I'm planning on hitting up WMC Miami next year, and possible Glastonbury.

oh and I want to do an event in South America one day.

Mutek isnt a big festival but deffo an amazing one for aspiring producers to attend work shops run by prominent artists.....<3 Mathew Johnson and Gui Boratto.

WMC is great bc you get the entire city of Miami full of DJs for a week strait, versus one day of DJs at a regular festival. Seing a couple of DJs for 8 hours a night is better (IMO) than seeing 100 DJs in 12 hours. By day 5 or 6 you can see every genre and almost every artist in the industry in an intimate setting. Ultra is OK but WMC as a whole is really something. With that said, I have never been to another festival.

sensation white 2005 and older, trance energy, mysteryland, sensation black, qdance, ultra fest

- Love Parade San Francisco (Because I think "Love Fest" sounds dumb)
- DEMF
- Decibel Festival (Not necessarily large in attendance numbers, but it has fucking quality talent)
