this is being downloaded like crazy off of beatport in just the past few days...

why 'oh dear' and 'quite'?

this is a really good update in my opinion. Its not a Tyas 'harder kick' rework - it sounds really classy in my opinion, and ive seen it blow several clubs to pieces!

Mind taking me along to one of those clubs?

I thought the remix wasn't that bad actually

What's wrong with remixing old tracks? Juno has done it 3 times this year and no one here has complained.

this remix is pretty good actually. i heard it a few weeks back at electric daisy carnival, i heard armin play it for like 2 seconds on saturday when i was stepping outside from desyn to get some fresh air. good stuff.

It's basically the original massive'd up, bigger, faster and louder all round. Hardly subtle, but better than you might think.

They do remixes?

Posted by ballmouse on Jul-17-2007 16:41:

Juno is their label. I'm saying the label (Juno) has been remixing tracks, just like someone saying Discover is doing remixes of ___.

Juno isn't a label. It's a shop.

What's this then?

Posted by bas on Jul-17-2007 18:32:

I don't know about this. There's only two proper mixes, the original and the evolution dub. Even that Yunus Guveusneensns mix wasn't that great. Just leave the classics alloonnneee!!!

Something I didn't find when I typed "Juno" into Discogs.

As updates go, its pretty good. You wouldnt really know it was a Heaven Scent remix until the melody hits... and then the place would go nuts.

Original is still better, John Johnson remix still owns, but the Greg Downey remix is up there with the better remakes that have been done.

I just found out Digweed finished his last Transitions set with this. Kinda curious how he worked it in

Bottom line - with all the radio support / dj support this "bootleg" has had, why shouldn't the label officially endorse it instead of someone knocking up a few white label 12"s from which label nor remixer would see a dime?

Posted by Arraias on Jul-17-2007 22:40:

need to check this.

Yes - though it's unfortunate that Bedrock decided to put this:

We were not sure if we wanted to release this on Bedrock, but I also did not want this to be bootlegged. So with demand very high for this mix, we are making it available...

...into their promotional material. Fucks sake, stand behind your releases or don't release it at all - but don't just come out and admit the only reason you released it was money.
