Vestax VMC-002

Is this a good mixer for a beginner? If there are any other mixers that are around the same price range but better, or even just better mixers let me know about them! thanks.

i highly recommend vestax mixers
i personally use a VMC-004
they're great beginner -> midrange mixers
very solid build and great sound quality

would definately recommend over any behringer,numark,gemini,etc..

I've got one and I definately recommend it. It's built tough and it works like a charm. If you don't need any fancy features other than two channels and some EQ knobs then it's really the best bang for the buck.

+1 on the VMC-004 nothing fancy but its a good bedroom mixer decent quality good build, I love the stiff VOL faders on it.

There a new one with effects if you want them not sure on price tho, I think its the same price range

now would u guys reccomend the vestax over the dxm06?

i personally would
the faders and knobs are much more solid and it has full kills on the knobs, no switches

only thing its missing is the FX, but for a beginner stick with the basics, and on that note the solid faders, knobs and sound quality of the mixer should be more important
