Sasha...Houston

today, i listened to involver, and sasha live at E global night in Mexico, and sasha live at Zu house dortmund...and i thought to myself...wouldn't it be just absolutely perfect if sasha came to houston?

and then when i got home, and hooked up the internet (just moved), and went to www.77002.com, i saw he's coming in october.

i don't care if it's in 2.5 months, i'm psyched.

Sasha in Houston. That will be top notch if its going to be the same way he played @ Aria in montreal and he was even sick at the time. Every 20 minutes he would run off to the washroom to puke supposedly.

Posted by winston on Jul-21-2007 15:45:

cuz we know sasha is so cool like that, cuz you know airdrawndagger is sooooo super duper cool and uber neo awesome. Hearing his name makes my knees go weak and all..

anyhow, didn't Charlie May contribute to more than half the productions on that album?

Either way, Airdrawndagger still kicks my ass everyday. "Magnetic North" and "Fundamental" are still my favs

Yep most cokeheads I know go to the bathroom every 20 minutes because they're sick.

When I say Sasha back in Dec 06...he left the DJ Booth twice for something......you guys can guess probably...and cuz of indoor club smoking laws he couldn't smoke behind the DJ booth but that didn't stop him from knelling down and doing it in secret.....thought he's still a sick DJ no matter what.

No he's not. why? just cuz he played good during the noughties, doesn't mean he still has it.
Last time i heard him play, he was canning pop music remixed on ableton (e.g - Good Charlotte).

Depends what kinda crowd he's playing for..that was back in WMC 06 when he was playing for the mainstream crowd of Miami...check out on his current Zu House set...pure class.

Also this was the partical tracklist of that night, and I highly recommend seeing him live:

Badger Stop Cloak (Part I)
Solieb - Isotropy (Lazy Fat People Remix)
Moby feat. Deborah Harry - New York New York (Radio Slave 'Not Long Now' Remix)
Dirk Technic - I Love You (Mugwump Sonic Race Devastversion)
Plastik - Plastik (Alex Dolby Remix)
Shiloh Caf Del Mariachi
16 Bit Lolitas - Destiny
Kid Creme - The Game (Kid Voodoo Dub)
Jim Rivers - Restore
Michael Mayer & Reinhard Voigt - Transparenza
Pryda - Remember
Layo & Bushwacka Ride The Train (Bushwaska! Remix)
Sami Koivikko Pientare
Thom Yorke The Eraser (Stretch & Vern Edit)
Spooky New Light (Spookys Strobelight Mix)

Also, I doubt he'll play these tracks...just sorta his style then.

I see it in the post, but not in the quote.

[I haven't heard a set from Sasha w/o Digweed in years, so I can't judge on this one.]

This is his most current set..thought this a radio set...so a bit mellow and down tempo..check out his Bonnarro set for something a little bit more up beat.

I'm just curious about this ability to figure out who's playing what in a recorded set.
