Marco V - Godd (Filo & Peri Remix) (inc. sample)

I know this is not exactly new. I only heard it on a set once. Its an amazing remix of the classic. Anyone knows if its ever getting released?

no. regardless to what people said here.. its a good remix. i'll try post a sample later.

Although I wouldnt think its much good, I'd be interested to hear just how Filo & Peri (of all groups) could possibly remix the tough sounds of Godd.

One of those songs that shouldn't be remixed.

They actually did a decent job of updating this track to a modern tech trance feel yet retained the same ideas as the original. I think this is a worth remix as much as it pains me to say it. Not bad at all, especially for Filo & Peri, and definitely not something I would expect to hear from them.

It's just as mindless as the original, random hard beats + vocal sample, there isn't much to remix really, they could have called it Filo & Peri - Random Tune w/ Godd acapella.

Yeah, it's certainly not my thing, I was only in to the hard trance sound for a brief moment before it became embarrassingly stale, but I think the way the random noises are laid out give it a respectable update to today's tech trance scene.

I have a feeling I'll get flamed for this, but whatever.

That said, against my better judegment, I think it is ok

The main break bit at 1:33 onwards, I like the groovy feel and riff used.

Other parts of the track are meh.

Whichever, I still consider it tech trance even if genre labeling is entirely too passé these days

And yeah, it's nothing great, but it's miles better than almost anything else they've churned out lately.

After the thrashing given to "The Anthem" I thought it only fair to give this one a listen. It reminds me a bit of the pacing in "Juicy," and the bassline is pleasant enough, so is the build.

In the end it's still just one of those pretty simplistic tune that I'm sure will have dancefloors full of e'd out trancers going wild for weeks to come - but I'll concur that I think it's better than the majority of what's coming out in this realm lately.

Oddly enough, its the bits without the vocals that are shit. The bits where the vocals are are done fairly well, but the rest is pretty pants.

never heard the remix, but i wouldnt mind listening to it once. i love the original

the first half not very good
the second half is very.....arena-ish, like SanderVD's
