Eric Prydz coming to America??

I have been hearing this a lot lately I even know of a club in Florida who supposedly has him booked in Nov. Is this true or false? I sure hope it is true would love to see him live!

I read in an interview that he wanted to fly to america despite his fear

Posted by RJT on Jul-20-2007 13:25:

He is playing a North American tour this fall, dates are already booked.

He also mentioned that he *might* actually take a boat over if he can't get over his fear of flying, and also noted that he feels better about flying on a large plane across an ocean than he does flying in small planes that hop about Europe.

correct.

He also mentioned that he's going to be driving around in a big tour bus to get to all the gigs.

I heard he was going by canoe?

who cares...30k a show i ludicrous...fuck him and book locals that play the same shit he would. He is a good producer...but as a dj..brutal i find. If he played Cirez D style maybe...but 30k?...give me a break.

The only reason i will go is because i'm getting a freebie...but 30k? what a joke. Pure cheese.

Posted by all-nite-freak on Jul-20-2007 17:20:

he is going to fly...rumour is his first gig is in montreal on canadian thanksgiving but nothing confirmed yet...he will be tranqued for the flight to sleep the whole way through and do the rest of his dates by travelling on a tour bus. I still say save the money and buy some tolberones.

Posted by UWM on Jul-20-2007 17:25:

30k per gig, you're joking right?

Posted by leebates1986 on Jul-20-2007 17:48:

i seen prydz do a 3hr set, fucking mindblowing, crowd went for it 100%, didnt hear any cheese in there

Posted by all-nite-freak on Jul-20-2007 17:50:

from the promoters who have tried to book him this seems to be the figure...i think this fear of flying is bullshit...deffo a smart move..he says he is only doing this once...for that kind of loot thats hard to believe. This practice of paying that much is bad for business...seriously...i hate fucking fanboys and fangirls for realizing that their worship actually makes it harder and unfordable for many promotion teams to bring great shows. I bet i know at lest 50 dj's in north america who could do a better job then he for a fraction....putting the pussy on a pedastal...pfttt...and eric prydz plays pussy music They say he will play what the promoters want...that means cross over appeal aka commercial twat music....not the good stuff.
Cirez D Horizons is kick ass though...but he plays gay house.(fuck you armed sucked balls)

no offence man but i think your a bit dilusional.. sure, guys like you and i might be able to play the same stuff as him and mix it up well but prydz is a bit of a legend and i think i speak for for a lot of people that he would be inspiring and entertaining to see how good of a "dj" he is, but i still think he's a vagina for not wanting to fly

I think him not wanting to fly is just something that he threw out there so people like us would make a big deal about it and talk up a storm about it.Hence his tour getting more promotion via word of mouth.

I don't understand how you can like that new Cirez D release.

And if he is really charging 30K they're going to have to charge $100 or more at the door at the club he's playing here in San Antonio just to try to get their money back. So I doubt they're paying him that much.
