House > Trance

just a random poll, i'm curious to see how many ppl started out liking trance and now like house more.

I personally still like 'slower' trance, but very few trance songs do it for me these days, and the many subgenres of house have taken over my musical taste.

(just ignore the poll if you don't favour either trance or house)

new house > most new trance

and new techno seems to achieve, for me at least, what trance is supposed to do...

but well done trance > all

Trance still tops my list.
Trance night at Guv is right behind.

If you're trying to be l33t, that would be "House <> Trance". I'm not aware of any grammar which uses a "><" operator.

Just letting you know.

Frankly, it doesn't matter.

Like life, I don't like to follow the rules, and that also applies to math and grammar Unofficial operators ftw!

YOU don't matter!

though I do agree, like your signature says, both have their purposes that can't be compared.

one thing i don't understand is how people can claim to love one and completely hate the other, especially with genres coming closer together these days...

Posted by m2j on Jul-21-2007 00:21:

hmm... the real question here is: which one's better, apples or oranges?

minimalcore getto jazz house

Posted by mnemonic. on Jul-21-2007 01:36:

i prefer deep and progressive house rather than all this "electro house" horse shit thats seemed to have taken over, as for trance, very few DJ's still do it for me, very few, in other words, the following:

Chris Lawrence
Smith & Pledger
Jon O' Bir.

and thats it.

maybe markus schulz.

does that really exist? i like tribal and jazz, would be interesting to hear a combination of the two. unless, you're referring to latin jazz which can get a tad tribally at times.

Posted by activate on Jul-21-2007 02:15:

but you can't go wrong with classic rotterhouse

Posted by Jer on Jul-21-2007 02:18:
