Hmm... I have to admit that there is something "adventurous" or fresh when you are listening to a newbie who is getting use to his or her gear. Granted, the newbie must be heading in the right direction and not scribbling utter crap.
One joy I have on boards like these, unbeknownest to many, is watching the development of newbies into better musicians. It's like watching a science experiment that you don't have to work at.

I just listened to "Through the Fractal". It's experimental electronica to me that is trying to be EDM of the psy persuasion. It's got some bad production problems, and the samples sound very flat, but again, I see what you are trying to do. THe kick is one of the Must-changes, but it's got some terrible samples for percussion.
I don't consider myself a newbie anymore but you can hear my earliest attempts on my old myspace.
The Gump tune and Full Metal Jacket were two sort of joke tunes though they reflect my production skills at the time quite well. Time to Stop was my first attempt at a proper dance track.

I find i suck at percussion patterns, my first few tracks, had extremely good patterns..lol
