Djin in the park... thinkin up an idea. SFTA|Tranceaddict Meet & Greet
Its been a while since I seen a Tranceaddict get together. Or any on this forum.... Expecially with the Norcal|Westcoast TA's.
There are some decent parks here in San Jose, and Im sure we could have like a BBQ like sometime in August. What do you guys think? Also, my Birthday is coming up in August...
Something with open decks, good food, friends and fun. Id like to put it together, would you guys be game for a day party at a park here in San Jose?
Everyone I knows a Dj, musician or artist of some sort. I been seeing alot of posts of who knows who on TA.. This would be a great way to meet others ya?
A good park thats close to me is cunningham park. the weather has been decent enough for a chill day, not too cold, not too hot. Ive also noticed music too there. I grew up on the eastside... Always chill out here in ESJ....
Whats up guys? Input here.. and possibly a date? Im thinkin real soon. Summers getting close to being over.. and August is gonna be one HOT month.
I like the idea of this. Hope that everyone is up for this also.

Definitely the setup will be:
Turntables
CDJS
Allen and Heath Mixer
Enough power and some speakers....
If it goes until nightime, I have a friend with some lazers.. and other lighting...
Which could possibly turn into a itty bitty rave?

Ya, hopefully we can all get together sometime. I always end up missing the TA dinners, so I think this would be alot of fun.
besides, i wanna be able to idenitify everyone by face too...
Don't do this on the weekend of August 18-19. I have to be in LA that weekend. We are celebrating Devin's first birthday that weekend! His Bday is Aug 21
Don't do it on the east side. I don't feel like getting stabbed
Can I recommend Calaveras park in Milpitas or even Los Gatos creek park?
The second park is not really around any residential areas so it can go on for a pretty long time if it happens along with no noise complaints and usually dead (at least the last few times I've pased there and it's quite often as I walk/jog w/ my sister there -- I've even seen discodave ride his bike on the trail once too ). They have a nice gazebo in the middle and it's right off 17 too.

Finally! something close to home! I wont make it if its 8/18 also so yay.

I get so paranoid when I'm in that area too especially when visiting my step-dad

Also Micheal Liu from Solid Grooves always throws HUGE day parties at this one park off Santa Theresa-I will contact him and get more info!!!

But ya, any park that would allow us to use a stage or music for a while would be great.
Looks like this will shape up to be a great party. Ill make sure that Ill schedule it the week before or after the 18th guys.
Ill see who else we could get to play. I know Taj birthday and mine are real close too... Anyone else birthday in August?

I went to a park in Sunnyvale before, with lots of loud punk rock music live acts. I will ask my friend what the name of the park is.
