Editing FXB Files?!?!?

OK, I have searched high and low for this one but can't find an answer anywhere. The LM7 in Cubase relies ".fxb" files to load drum kits. I have created my own kit and the "LM4" file for it with "LM4 DrumKit Editor". But, I can't figure out for the life of me how to create/edit an FXB file so I can load my kit into the LM7. The file appears to be compiled/encrypted/whatever because when I open one of the pre-existing ones in a text editor, it looks like gibberish. Any ideas?

Hi!
FXP (for single patches) and FXB (for banks) is just a meta-container format for vst plugin presets. It encapsulates all the settings, that the plugin exposes to the host application and saves it to a file. The advantage is, that you do not have to deal with tons of proprietary extensions. BUT what is in the FXP files only depends on the plugin so I guess you can't see anything if you open it in an editor. It is just like with AVI videofiles, AVI is the container but there can be divx, xvid, mp4 or whatever codec in it. I was also wondering why nobody came up with the idea of using an xml-based format for vst patches. Then you could at least make an independent bank-librarian where you can move and resort banks, which is a pain sometimes.
Please correct me if i described anything wrong...
