....

Heath Ledger sucks

Posted by Minhaj on Jul-27-2007 20:55:

btw the voice at the end is the joker imitating hearvy dent (2face), that why it sounds 2 deep

Posted by LeopoldStotch on Jul-27-2007 20:56:

all i have to say is that i think heath ledger is a pretty good actor and everything, but he really does have some big shoes to fill to play the Joker, because Jack Nicholson's performance of the Joker in the first Batman movie was very good.

Posted by shaw on Jul-27-2007 20:56:

that sounds fake.

when is this actually coming out?

Posted by Zoso on Jul-27-2007 20:56:

Well, they got the first one right. Let's hope they deliver again.

i see this filming almost daily .. it's hell for traffic downtown

This new look is just not working for me.

The Joker is supposed to look "nuts" with a theme. Not just "nuts" like any other guy from a psych ward (Don't bring Arkham into this conversation, by the way. You won't get anywhere with it).

Last time, they were just doing it in the middle of the night, on the bridges & lower wacker, so it didn't really matter.

Where's the green hair?

I think Heath Ledger could potentially do a good job with acting out a madman who's lost everything... so I'm not giving up on this yet.

Maybe I'll get used to the look.

I read an interview where he said that he knew it would be a challenge to step into Nicholson's shoes and that he is happy with the chance to have a new spin on it.

I don't think most actors would accept a role like this unless they knew what they were getting into... the possibility for public scorn is too great. (unless of course they are a complete megalomaniac to begin with and all bets are off)

yeah, most actors are far too modest to do such a thing.

I really, really, REALLY don't want him to mimic Nicholson's performance. While I did love that Joker rendition above all else (in the movies, at least - leaving out the comics and cartoons), I'd prefer it to stay in my memories as the one and only "Jack" Jack (if you get the reference, +1). A shoddy performance will anger me to no ends.
